A stunt performer's online CV has surfaced, strongly suggesting that developer NetherRealm is actively working on Injustice 3. The unannounced project has not yet been confirmed by publisher Warner Bros. or the studio itself, but multiple leaks over recent months have pointed toward a return to the DC fighting game franchise.

According to a report by MP1st, a stuntworker who has previously collaborated with NetherRealm listed motion capture work for the unannounced sequel on their resume. This follows other recent indicators, including an artist's portfolio mention and a playtest listing for an unreleased AAA 2D fighting game held in California.

Character Names Discovered in the Resume

The leaked resume listing includes two specific characters: Supergirl and Batwoman. Supergirl appeared prominently in the previous installment, 2017's Injustice 2, making her inclusion an unsurprising development for fans of the series.

Batwoman's presence is more unexpected because the character dies in the tie-in comic books, which are considered part of the games' official canon. However, comic book deaths are notoriously temporary, and other possibilities include a mantle swap or time-travel narrative mechanics, similar to the soft reboot seen in NetherRealm's Mortal Kombat 1.
