The Hollowing Announced As Horror Flight Sim In Lorn's Lure Universe

Developer Rubeki has revealed a first-person horror flight simulation titled The Hollowing during the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct, according to PC Gamer.

The new title is set within the same universe as Rubeki's previous project, Lorn's Lure. The project arrives roughly two years after the release of that earlier game and keeps the same distinctive retro-style visual presentation.

Navigating the Megastructure

Players step into the cockpit of an aircraft to pilot through heavy mist across a massive megastructure. The primary objective involves traveling between tall structures and performing repairs to keep different settlements connected.

The journey features minimal company: just the player character, the aircraft, thick fog, and an audio transmission from an external voice on the radio.

Psychological Turmoil

During the preview, details emerged regarding the fate of the previous aviator on the route. That pilot suffered psychological decline, experienced strange radio interference, and saw hallucinations driven by spore toxicity.

The newly introduced protagonist, Phil, appears to encounter these exact same psychological struggles as the footage progresses.

No launch date has been announced for the title yet. Interested players can add the game to their wishlists on Steam to monitor future updates.
