Originally introduced globally back in February, this accessory has now arrived in select markets including India. It positions itself as a premium choice focusing heavily on portability rather than raw capacity or universal speed.
Design and Specifications
Measuring just 6mm in thickness and weighing 98g, the device stands out for its exceptionally slim form factor. It is roughly the size of a playing card, featuring an anodized aluminum exterior paired with a soft-touch plastic underside. The base includes a USB-C port that functions as both input and output, alongside four LED status indicators and a dedicated button that also engages a low-current charging mode.
Buyers can choose from three distinct color variants:
- Radiant Orange
- Glacier Silver
- Graphite Black
The unit carries a rated capacity of 5,000mAh at 3.79V, translating to a typical 5V use-case delivery of around 3,000mAh. It supports up to 15W wireless output alongside 22.5W wired output via the USB-C cable. Users can even combine both methods to charge devices simultaneously.
Performance and Compatibility
Despite supporting 15W wireless speeds, that top speed is restricted exclusively to Xiaomi 17 series handsets. Because the product lacks official MagSafe or Qi certifications, other compatible devices like iPhones max out at 7.5W, while third-party Android phones such as the Pixel 11 Pro drop even lower to 5W. Wired testing with the Pixel 11 Pro, however, yielded much faster replenishment times.
In India, the unit retails for INR 5,999, which makes it more expensive than higher-capacity siblings like the 10000 45W and 20000 165W models. Ultimately, buyers must decide whether paying extra for such a thin, lightweight magnetic charger justifies the performance compromises outside of Xiaomi's ecosystem.
